Introduction

Background of International Cyber University for Health

This concept was welcomed by the APACPH members and Yonsei University pledged further commitment to the project. Ever since, many APACPH and non-APACPH members have contributed much to the International Cyber University for Health.

At the 37th Conference in Shanghai, the Memorandum of Understanding between APACPH and Yonsei University was signed by all parties at the Board Meeting. The Dean of the Graduate School of Public Health of Yonsei University was assigned to oversee all operations and management of the Cyber University

The Need of a Cyber University in the Asia Pacific Region

The International Cyber University for Health remains steadfast in achieving APACPH’s mission by its REACH motto which sets its vision and motivation as an education provider.

Reach out to the numerous health care workers from various cultural and language backgrounds in Asia Pacific.
Enhance academic opportunities to individuals and upgrade competence of allied health care workers
Provide Accessible education in an online environment independent of space and time.
Provide Continuing education in the area of Public Health
Most importantly, to meet the Health information needs of the public in key areas of relevancy and urgency.
